After-school and sunny weekends get busy, especially at waterfront parks. Lundeen Park is my favorite for the all-in-one experience (playground, beach, dock, and parking).

Downtown lakeside turf and play area; easy to pair with a coffee or walk.

Lundeen Park

My go-to: big playground, sandy beach, dock, restrooms, and plenty of parking.

Frontier Heights Park

Great modern play structures and open space—very easy parking.

Lake Stevens Community Park

Sports fields, paved paths, and a large playground—great for burning off energy.

Cavalero Hill Dog Park

Off-leash areas and open fields; keep a towel in the car when it’s muddy!

Bowls and street features; great for scooters and skaters—helmets are a must.
